    FYI: 1440 = 480 red + 480 green + 480 blue. Or as the non-sleazy would call it, 480 pixels.

    Woot had a much better LCD (9.6 inch, 800x600, 350 cd/m², 450:1 contrast) yesterday for $80. Too late now, of course, but there will probably be equivalent deals before long.

    yeah, 480 x 234 sound much better, but that's still wider than 16:9
