Cheap phone but expensive prepaid plans. Go with T-Mobile or AT&T prepaid for lower monthly costs. If you add the $100 airtime card on either, it's 10 cents a minute (1000 minutes), expires in 1 yr. And if you don't use it all up, you only have to add $10 for every year thereafter (the $10 minutes adds to what's left of your original 1000 minutes).
I pay $5/mo with Virgin Mobile, though I think that may be going up to $20 every 3 mo. No problems. That is applied to air time and it NEVER expires...just rolls over month after month, year after year. The $$ isn't lost if I change plans in the future. Not a bad deal for me.
