Saw this on another email list I'm on. Windows CE? Really?

Someone must have dug up some old stock in a storage unit somewhere and decided to dump it on the market to pay the storage bill. This isn't even enough to run Ubuntu on.

Now - price them at $25 each including shipping and I might be in on a couple to use for my applications that have to run DOS.

These stupid things are all over Craigslist too. Definitely trying to take advantage of morons who think "Ooo! Netbook! I've heard that word before!" and have no idea what specs to look for.

Good idea #2, as long as you can find an ARM build of DOS, and whatever archaic application you have in mind. I remember paying $500 for the same thing in a handheld, and the platform sucked then. Good luck loading even 1 webpage with 64MB and MSIE 3's crack baby offspring.

I saw on on the clearance shelf at a truck stop for $30. Played with it for a while, not even worth that much.

Good call on the coupon #6, you're right, this is way overpriced for the useless heap of junk it is.

Top brand in electronics is Visual Land. I will not buy anything else, except Coby which is #2.
