There have been a lot of "deals" on refurb Vizio TVs as of late. It makes you wonder why there are so many needing refurbished.

well, #1...that's because there is an abundant supply of white trash out there that buy things they can't afford...then when the credit card bills start rolling in, they return the tv they bought. even though they "deserve" the new tv, they have to return it to pay for smokes and booze.

I wonder how many of these refurbs are Superbowl returns. You know.. the guy that goes and buys a big screen just for the big game and returns it Monday afternoon after work...

I did that once, but it was because the tv wasn't that good.
