Not LED-backlit, LED-edgelit...
I have the 26" version of this model and the picture looks great, no adjustments for contrast needed. Audio is also leveling so no volume issues between channels or commercials, WiFi connects fine to Netflix, and I'm happy with it.
The audio is a little weak, and the USB ports at this time are worthless, but still a good bargain. I have a small home stereo system I port the audio to so I don't care, and when I want to watch current movies, I use my laptop's HDMI out and watch BDs, or what I have downloaded to a 1.5TB external eSATA HD.
It's only my opinion, but I like this series of HDTVs through usage.
Oh yah, I did hear the response time is a bit too slow for some online gaming, but I don't use gaming consoles so that doesn't really matter to me.
