I've replaced 4 Vizio TV's under warranty. Blown power supplies, broken tuners, and other failures. I'm lucky because Vizio has a 1 year warranty and most problems happen at 1+ years, but I bought mine from Costco, which gives 2 years warranty.

First Vizio died within the Costco 90 day warranty. Thought it was a fluke and exchanged for the same. This one died at 6 months. The replacement died within 12 months and the replacement was also defective.

The current Vizio is a 120mhz model and has a great picture, but is out of warranty. Vizio wanted $400 for a 3 year warranty. I figure with these TV's coming down in price, the bad experience with the brand, I'd save the money and let it die and just get a new TV.

#2 You are rough on tvs. With that many problems you might want to look at whats around it when it fails to see if something else is causing it.

I know several people with Vizios and have had ZERO problems..

      #3 - good stuff

#2 - I agree with #4 - you have an issue with your power or environment. I used to work in electronics retail and people who perpetually had problems with electronics had power issues - grounding issues, surges, bad wiring, etc... it's you, not the brand.
