I'll take discrete graphics over 40GB less HD space.

This computer has ridiculously long battery life...almost 5 hours from firsthand experience (with integrated graphics).

9-cell battery rocks! But I still don't believe 5 hours. Wow!

5-hour standby? sure why not. Not when you watch a movie or work on something that uses the HD/CD-drive though.

Is it just me or do you guys not see the deal Ben is talking about? On the Vostro 1400 page:

      http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/vostronb_1400?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&~tab=bundlestab

the $599 computer does not include the 160gb Hard drive and extended Battery. The $549 includes those two but does not have the 2gb ram or graphics card?

On another note, does anyone know if I have to disable something in my browser in order for the "Click Here" links to work? I keep getting "IE cannot display webpage" whenever i click on these links. I am a newbie to this site so any help would be nice Smile

I just ordered mine late last night, I got the Vostro 1500 with 2gb ram, 160gb hard drive and extended battery for $599. I also received free overnight shipping. Ships Monday will be here on Tuesday. Can't beat it for that price. Regular price was $999.
