i bought this from bestbuy for $100, wanted to use it for animation purposes. it was rather hard to use, the pen has to hover about an inch above the pad to be recognized and if it touches the pad, thats considered as a mouse click. i'm sure it just required a bit of getting use to. i returned it without giving it a chance.
