Keyword is Refurbished. Graphire's tend to die out fast. That's why their Intuos line cost two times as much and twice the warranty.

I don't agree so much with the fact that the graphire series die out fast. I have one several years old and its still churning out designs. The only thing I ever had to replace was the pen because I rolled the chair over it.
