The stylus pen has 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and is compatible with most graphic software such as Painter, Adobe Photoshop.

These are still the gold standard for any type of graphic work. The price drop is due to the Intuos5 being out (Intuos5 Medium is $350). You won't notice any difference between the two models except for the touch features included in the 5 edition, which are pretty shabbily integrated. Anyhow, good price, as the Intuos4 small was this price two years ago.
Good price. I got the small one last year refurbished for $160.
