What's really odd is that WD claims there is NO OEM/bulk drive with which they lower the warranty from Retail package. (How very different from Seagate.)
WD's claim is that there are *many* that they never will offer as bulk/OEM.
@2 Blue is their low budget model, about equivalent to seagate in reliability (which isn't great). Green is supposed to be more power efficient. Black is high performance and durable.
Based on our 5000 workstation network as my test pool, WD Black editions are my HD of choice.
