Is there any hdd under $50 that can match this one? 7200rpm, 32gb cache, and 500 gb capacity? Not bad. I know the price per GB is lower on the larger drives, but I'm a cheap-ass and this drive appeals to my pocket book.
Not really. It would be a great deal if it was a retail box. I am not sure what is is. Newegg lists it as an oem with the part number, WD5000AADS, so who knows.
Either way its an ok deal.
