Less Platters, = less noise
32 mb vs 16 mb Cache (i guess somewhere it will help)
And it is a bit Cheaper
and depending where you will installed the F1 -- it will flat out outperform others (Server vs one station computer usage..performs very, very well in a single box envir.,)
#3, hit the nail on the head I can get 90mb/s transfer speeds. I love my f1, only issue if any: 3 year warranty not seagate 5 yr.
also for those of you raptor fans: the new WD velociraptor is out. 300gb 30% faster than the previous version 5 yr warranty. Only a matter of time till I buy those. only kicker: 16mb cache?! come on WD!
