ZipZoomFly has the Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive for $90 - $15 rebate [Exp 10/31] + $0 shipping = $75 shipped. These drives use less power and operate at lower temperatures and acoustics than standard desktop drives.

A good backup drive when used with an external SATA docking station. Very good $/GB ratio.

#2 you are a moron. This is not a fast drive. AND you can get the same drive from Frys for $60.

You are the moron, this is a 7200 rpm drive with 32 megs. And wtf are you fibbing about? Fry's only has the 8 meg version for $79.99

Fry's does indeed have this same drive for $60 plus tax. Sale started Thursday and runs for a week unless they run out before. I just bought 2 earlier today.

Do not have herp3s, it's a fever blister.

I'm assuming the Frys deal is the "MAJOR NAME BRAND 1TB SERIAL ATA/300 32MB BUFFER HARD DRIVE" for $60, which is OOS Sad

Sorry, #4, this is not a 7200 RPM drive. The actual rotational speed is somewhere between 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM, best estimates put it around 5900 RPM.

5400 RPM, the Seagate LP is the one @ 5900RPM.
