    YES!... great for a dvr or someplace you need a quite drive... but for a gaming desktop i would go with 7200rpm's

    For gaming screw the 7200s and go to the WD Raptor 10,000rpms in a strip parity...now thats fast!

    These are significantly quieter than the 7200 drives. You can really tell the difference if you're using them on external enclosures.

    Pretty much irrelevant, for gaming above all else you wan enough system memory to cache hdd reads so levels are entirely cached, load in a 4 seconds instead of the 10-20 it takes re-reading from a 10K RPM HDD.
