Newegg has the Western Digital Elements 2TB WDBAAU0020HBK-NESN Desktop External Hard Drive for $100 - $20 off with coupon code EMCKBHG47 [Exp 8/24] = $80 with free shipping. Compatible with all versions of Windows and Mac OS X.
Was $69 last Black Friday at Target, the 1TB portable same price. Because most ads were available online, I went to the store Wed. night and bought what I wanted at regular price as they were being put on display, returning for no-hassle price adjustment Friday afternoon when parking was easy and no lines. No problem. This will be my BF shopping in future, fersure.
Suggest hitting WD support forums, i picked one of these up when they where $68 also , its failed 2X, under warrenty both, Both times I have got back a scuffed up used replacement. These use some wierd custom firmware so the drive cant be used except in this case. There is a COMMON problem where the drive will "lock" or say its locked if you try to do anything to it. 100's of posts on it in the WD help forums and no help from WD excpet to send it back. All data lost.
First WD prodcut I wont recomend, its not a good drive.

Bought one of these. Will hook it up to my pogoplug device as backup. Can't beat it for that price.
