      Fry's Electronics 3TB for $130. That is $43.33/TB. Staples= $45/TB. Not a good deal.

Interesting economics #3 - so I should pay an extra $43.33 for an extra terabyte I may not need to insure that I save $1.67 on the "per terabyte" price?

@#4: You can get 3TB WD external drive @ Fry's Electronics for $130. That is a better deal because you get more storage space thus save you space at home and $5. But if you want to get a smaller drive @ Staples for a higher price per TB. Be my guest but STOP pan handling on the road for the extra $1.67 per TB....LOL...J/K.

It is my opinion that Fry's Electronics has the better deal. Did not mean to offend nor upset ya. Have a Happy Mother's Day.

Point is that not everyone needs 3 terabytes - more is NOT always better if you won't use it/don't need it. So in a case where someone only needs 2 TBs, the 2 TB drive is a better deal, since they'll save ~$45 to spend on something else.

It's all good though - who'd ever think we'd see a terabyte of external storage for only $45 or so. Smile

Get a $25 off $75 coupon and this is a decent deal.

Is this USB powered, I am guessing not at this price.
