    excellent drive....would've liked a 500GB or 640GB...but there's a huge price difference above the 320GB and they're hard to find on the usual sites.

    Price on Newegg just dropped the 320GB from $84.99 to $74.99 today.

    #4 do you think 32GB SSD for windows7 will be sufficient allongside a 500GB 5400 drive for programs etc. My notebook has two drive bays. Thanks.

    #5, if it is just Win7 Home with Office and few smaller applications, 32GB is fine. But if you planning to install J2EE App Server, Visual Studio, other MSDN or large applications, 32GB would be too small.

    You can install those on the hard drive, but there wouldn't be much benefit from SSD in that case. But the OS on SSD itself will give you a good boost in terms of system responsiveness.
