Shame on you Ben for promoting an emergency kit without flares on the 4th of July.
POS - don't waste the gas to pick it up.
The jumper cables are only 8-foot 10-gauge "booster" cables. Go for real 15-foot 6- or 4-gauge jumper cables at a minimum.
Instead of using the 10-gauge "tinsel" you would be better off going for one of those "lighter-socket-to-lighter-socket" charger cables. Sure, they're girlie 'cause they take 10 minutes to charge the dead battery enough to start the car, but they're a lot lighter and impossible to screw up.
the cable will not work it only get hot, everythig else is good except the cable.
Set is really junk.
