Closing stores not run by CC. Prices marked up, then down. Actual original prices cut off shelf tags. Scamarooney.
Also don't buy any CC service contracts. Hell, don't buy anybody's service contracts.

Went buy my nearest CC, one of the store's that's closing, to see if any deals could be found. Found a total of zero deals, which is about what I expected. They had DVDs at 50% off a ridiculous list price. You could buy them cheaper at Amazon or DeepDiscount. Most everything had already been sold or, more likely, moved from this store. The entire computer related section was gone. Their sale apparently was like CompUSA's closing store sales. It wasn't one.

The days of good deals when stores close are pretty much over. Once a store decides to close, they hire a liquidator who comes in and controls the show. Most of the time they mark up to mark down. Blows me away, wouldn't they be better off just pricing everything 60%-70% off and selling it all in a month then doing a retarded 30% off sale and keeping the store open for another 6 months?

Yea everyone's wanting the cheapest stuff and its all coming from foreign countries that make 50 cents an hour wages. Manufacturing companies here cant afford to make retail sold goods and maintain the profit margin they get from cheap labor. So keep supporting the cheapest foreign made stuff you can get while our economy sinks even further into a jobless pit of depression.

As well as those online only retail stores. They have lower overhead because they don't employ nearly as many people as a retail chain, but the savings your getting only results to small percentages. So again you are supporting the wealthy owners even larger profit margins because of the low overhead they pay out for employment. The country is not getting any smaller in population and we all see how those overpopulated countries live but we refuse to accept the realities that awaits. More homeless, crime rate goes up, college degrees become less valuable as a whole. We sink closer to a 3rd world countries way of life. Come on haven't you played the game Tropico Island before?

CC is a better store than Bestbuy. Please don't ever stop buying from them. Bring them back. I did my part and made just made a huge purchase from one of our surviving stores.
