Most 5$ deals from TRENDNet are really good one.
The closest CompUSA to me is 40 miles away now and I can't see buying $150 worth of stuff from them.
Now that N WiFi devices readily available and prices are dropping to reasonable levels, they are giving away the G stuff to get it out of their inventory. But your since your internet connection isn't likely to be above 10Mbps, and is very likely to be under 6Mbps, G is plenty fast. Stock up now!
CompUSA is too far to purchase anything worthwile.
Yeah, most of the So. Cal based stores have closed. I think the only one left is in the High Desert.
Anyone know if the Hauppauge WinTC-HVR 1600 is fully MC2005 compatable?
model 01178: WinTV-HVR-1600 with NSTC/ATSC/QAM support, on-board IR receiver and blaster, and English manual
CoolerMaster OMG you don't want buy there power PSU i got 2 of there PSU all broken down lest then month. CoolerMaster is not cool at all when it broken Don't wast your money on it
Looks like Trendnet is rebating everything. What's up with that?
#7: well, you're partially correct. The CoolerMaster eXtreme power supplies are junk. The one on sale here is basically a Seventeam 500watt power supply with the limits removed. If you try to use more than 500watts of power the voltages will drop a lot(like, more than 2volts, way out of spec ), and probably cause your computer to crash.
However, seventeam power supplies are good quality, so if you don't mind the false advertising, you could just buy this CoolerMaster eXtreme 600w and consider it to be a good 500watt power supply. There are very few computers that will use more than 500watts anyway. Even quadcore + 8800GTX in SLI + gaming motherboard + couple hard drives + optical drive + some good high-end RAM only use around 430watts at maximum load, and that's with the CPU and graphics cards overclocked. But, with this power supply, you'd really want to be absolutely sure that your computer components aren't drawing more than 500watts. CoolerMaster removed the Over current protection, so if you try to draw more power than this power supply can handle, it won't shut off. The voltages will drop alot, to the point where it still won't put out much more than 500watts, even though you're drawing more current. This would almost certainly cause your computer to crash, and could damage your components.
As far as other CoolerMaster power supplies, their RealPower power supplies are much better quality. They're very good. But, avoid their eXtememe power line.
Good deals on Trendnet networking hardwares, they're extremely reliable.

I guess the only way to get stuff from Compusa for So. Cali area is online order now. So many deals.
