Kodak M1033 camera is an excellent deal. Bought one back in Feb, when they had it on sale for $130. 10.2MP camera, image stabilization, takes SD or SDHC cards (up to 8GB), and shoots video in 720p Hi Def format.
I picked up two extra batteries for $15 each online, and an external charger for ~$25, plus bought two 8GB SDHC cards for mine. Darn things hold something like 2600 pictures @ 10MP size! Video shoots as long as 29 minutes before it will quit (not sure why, but just about anything you're going to shoot won't last much longer than that, will it?). I'd suggest getting one of the GorillaPod (or clone) mini tripods too, plus a bag to put it all in.
