Turtle Beach X41 Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Headset $105 at eBay
Welcome to the newly redesigned BensBargains.net We've been hard at work here redesigning BensBargains.net for the 21.08th century, and here it is. You'll notice several things immediately, which we'll go over below so that your bargain-shriveled walnut of a brain can more easily comprehend:
Page Width Increased
We kept the layout from BensBargains 2.0 when we went to 3.0 in July of 2006, however that was a layout that was originally designed way back in 2000, when 800x600 was still a widely used resolution. Now we can safely cast all of those users aside (the few that remain, at least) for a page width that is more amenable to today's hard hitting monitors and resolutions. You'll notice that most of the font sizes have increased as well, for the same aforementioned reasons.
Larger Images
We know you've been squinting at the tiny product thumbnails, and now you can put that magnifying glass away because we've increased the size of our product thumbnails by about fourfold. We figure that most of you have made the jump to some sort of broadband since the ole days o' 56k when this site was first envisioned. Our sympathies to those who have not yet upgraded, well, not really.
Navigation & Left Bars
We've added a dropdown menu for our most commonly accessed areas, saving you an oh so precious click when navigating around aimlessly. You'll also notice that the Left Bar features some of the recently expanded offerings of BensBargains, including our proprietary Tracker technology for locating the latest hot products, as well as Ben's Coupons - a coupon section that lets you see what coupons we've come across in our daily plunders.
We hope you like the changes! We're working tirelessly to make your bargain shopping experience that much better. If you happen to come across a bug, feel free to file a Bug Report and we'll be right on it!

totally sexy! i def like how its wider...bigger pics...great job!
Looks nice but the left bar(advertisement) is a step back.
LOL.I Kept clicking on the homepage for bensbargains.net thinking I was in the wrong page.hahhaaaah
It does look nicer, but I liked the smaller icons better since I didn't have to scroll so much to see the new deals
This will look great on my Vic-20! Thanks Ben.
not bad, just not used to the different look. ive been looking at it the same way for many years so it will take me a while but all in all its still very much the same. good job.
meh, not bad.
So when do we get to see the next free Trade Publication in version 3.5?
Congratuations~~The new format looks great! Picture is large and ad is well organized.
Very nice!
I like the old layout better, it takes way too much scrolling on this new design. *sigh*
Ben this new layout is only good for those who has 25" monitor. Ghetto dogs like us can't afford it.
For those who like this layout, I hope you won't be bitching about the item is out of stock by the time you scroll down the page. This layout takes too much to scroll. Every second counts on those good deals.
Looks Cool, ben
Good - Dropdowns
Bad - Everything else
The old layout was nice and compact.
Nice work, Ben.
May I can propose a future feature?
Have an optional setting that will allow for the page to be automatically reloaded every ten - fifteen minutes.
Or just hard code that into your <head> section.
That way we always get the freshest deals.
Here is some javascript if you want to use it:
<script type="text/javascript">
var timer = setInterval("autoRefresh()", 1000 * 60 * 10);
function autoRefresh(){self.location.reload(true);}
</script>
i also like the old one much better...
#72 - it's not very nice to say 'do this or else'. it's your choice do follow through on your threat, sure, but it's not the kind of thing I would expect from decent folks (like you).
For verybody grousing about having to scroll ...
Did you know that pressing the space bar will scroll one screen at a time?
MUCH BETTER! Love the width and bigger thumbnails!
The new layout is nice. I haven't tried it on my phone yet.
