Why risk it for $50 when you can get more than double the space from a reputable seller for $70 a few posts above?

These drives come in two flavors, black and blue. Black has a 5yr warranty, and blue has 3yrs. Before aug. 2007, only a 1yr warranty, so how old are these drives. Something is very wrong with this deal. This drive from WD is $89.00 new with 5yrs.

I guess you get skimped on the warranty because it was bulk packed.

The description here should mention this is "recertified" - but even more importantly, that should be made clear high up on the product page at GoHardDrive.com. Instead, the title there reads, "Western Digital Scorpio WD1200BEVS 120GB 8MB 5400RPM SATA Notebook Hard Drive - New w/1 Year Warranty." Come on. Even if no one else has actually run this drive, it's still not new if it's been installed in another computer and possibly subjected to even minor cosmetic damage. Besides, it doesn't come with a new-grade warranty, so I think it's unfair to bury the condition info at the bottom of the page, especially when making a contradictory - or, at least, very misleading - claim at the top.
