Saw this deal at NewEgg first, ordered, then noticed the warrantee was one year. ZZF says 5 years.
I had heard that OEMs have 5-year warrantees while retail boxes are 1 year. I think the Newegg page has it wrong (they describe the drive as OEM) but the CSR was too lazy to investigate so I cancelled the NewEgg order and ordered from ZZF.
I just received the 160gb SATA from ZipZoomFly for $109. I was expecting a full retail package, but received just an OEM bare drive. So, I'll bet this one is also just an OEM and ZipZoomFly isn't decent enough to fully disclose what they are selling. Had I known what ZipZoomFly was selling, I would have bought the OEM from chiefvalue.com for $105-10%+$5 shipping.
