    Anyone out there know if you put all your music (MP3's, WMA's, WAVE's, etc.) files on one of these and then plugged it into one of the car stereos with a USB plug on the front if it would play them correctly? It would be worth replacing my car stereo if that were the case.

    #1 - Someone did post a message saying that it will work. But, I've never tried it.

    #1, its not a given that a drive of this size will be supported.

    it depends on your stereo.
    I have seen USB ports on the head units that will only support flash drives up to 2 GB.

    You really have to check the documentation to find the max that it will support.

    if it does support this size, you will most likely need to format for fat32, FYI.
