wow. when did this 500gb come out? not sure about the price, but the drive is very nice.
These huge capacity portable drives are great. I got a 80GB one, but not enough space now. Having to plug in the power adapter and cables on the floor is extremely annoying for those 3.5 external hard drives. Would definitely pay a bit more for portability.
My first reaction was exactly the same like leo's.
I knew it was an impossible price for a 3.5" external.
It's not a terrific deal for me though after Staples' deal for 75-dollar 320GB few days ago.
indeed very nice drive your whole video collection in your pocket, I am waiting for the other color to be available.
get the Seagate 1.5TB for this price
ok that's not quite as portable

My concern is with these bigger drives not getting enough power from USB. has anyone had bad experiences with that yet? I thought it was a common problem when the 320s first came out.
the staples deal is back, but where do you get the $25 off coupon from???
No deal.. Picked this up a while back at $100.

When you going to finally offer an ignore option, Ben?

If it has more platters than the usual ones then it needs more power if two usb ports cannot supply that power constantly then these drives will crap on you soon.
#18, I'm also waiting on that one. Ben is interested only in making money.
