    No idea about the software, #2. Sorry.

    Good price, though. These small hard drives normally go for $0.25/GB or more, this one's $0.20/GB. Only thing that sucks for me is it's Dell, so I'd pay another $8.25 tax on it.

    I have one [its elite though - i believe this is just std model]
    and it has backup/ sync software.


    Very pleased with this product, my first portable hard drive - I especially like its quietness
