I am dealing with a failed 750GB WD drive. I can only imagine the additional joy from 1TB.
EDIT: I moved my WD7500AAKS from an external Antec enclosure to inside the case and it worked. Diagnostics tests passed. So no failure of the WD.
Less than $0.16 per MB. So happy to see memory still dropping in price.
#2, $0.16 per MB is an extraordinarily high price
I think you mean GB. I agree nice price. they just keep falling.
Joy is backing up a 2GB RAID5 array to a 2GB RAID1 array and knowing that dealing with lost data is a thing of the past.
I'd take the Seagate for $4 more. Better drive reputation, better cache.
GP is their lame version of 1 TB. Get the newer black Caviar 1 TB. That one uses 3 (3x334) high density platters. More reliable, faster and longer warranty.
#7 do you not understand the purpose of the GP line?
This needs to have twice as much cache to make me consider it.
