I'm really getting tired of these ebillme "deals".
Ben you need to stop with this eBillme baconnaise. I don't want to sign up for it.
...so you need to
1. Sign up for eBillme
2. Wait for a rebate from WD and
3. spend another $24 on the site to get the free shipping
Seems like it's not a bargain at all.
Kill (e)Bill(me).
Where's Uma Thurman?
This is a good deal for the drive.. But whats up with ebillme? Any body use it?? Is it better than paypal?? Any risks?

disappointed
I used eBillme to get the PC Power & Cooling 750W PSU the other day from zipzoomfly. In terms of 'signing' up for eBillme, all you have to do is add them to your payee list for your online banking account. So in other words, if you buy whatever product, eBillme sends you an email invoice with the necessary information. You go to your bank's website, add eBillme as a payee and then send the payment.
I'm currently at the point where eBillme has received the payment from my bank but I have yet to see the $30 rebate, and I'm not sure if that is going to be a rebate check I get in the mail or how that is going to be paid back to me.
As is the case with any deal with a rebate though, you should consider whether or not you would buy the product at the price prior to any rebates. Then when you do receive your rebate, it's a 'bonus'.
i've heard mixed results with ebillme.
i'll pass.
Ebillme should not be including in the posted price. Mainly because you have to be a new ebillme customer to get that.

I agree. Rid this site of these eBillme crap.
so let's get back to the topic... is this WD better than Seagates' 7200.11s?
I heard the WD's generally run a tad bit quiter, but really not noticeable to an average Joe... but as far as performance/reliability between the 2 which would you recommend?
