No Deal. My Seagate 6 GB sata III outperforms my Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 7200 RPM 1 GB OS drive. Benchmarks by HD Tune Pro. Five dollars more for better speed and sata III and 2 GB – $85 at Amazon two-day shipping and no tax. yeah I am looking for an SSD.

#1, this deal is a Western Digital, not a hitachi. Plus this has a five year warranty, and is a solid drive

Here is why this is a pretty good drive:
    1. Dual processor - Twice the processing power.
    2. The motor shaft is secured at both ends.
    3. 5 year warranty.

I forgot to mention I have the 750GB version and it flies! I have had it for about two years and haven't had one issue with it.

If you look at the reliability overall at newegg it looks great, but look at last 6 months and last 2 weeks and it sucks. They somehow went cheap.

These are great drives. For a spindle drive it is good to go for use as a OS drive or back up. Has the 5yr warranty like others have mentioned. I have had 2 of these for 3 years without a problem. I now use SSD for a OS drive and could never to back to a spindle drive. Good price for the quality of drive you get.
