looks pretty good for the price. Has anyone had any experience with this particular model? is it 5400 or 7200rpm? good to use with a dock?
It's good to use as an extra drive to store files on. Great energy saver by going to sleep mode when not in use ... which makes it good for those big drives you store files on but access only once in a while. The sleep mode makes it horrible for hard drives you access often. It's 5400

No mention of rpm..
No mention of RPM because it is variable. The drive will spin down to a lower rotation to conserve energy, hence the "green" designation.
I don't think it is 5400rpm...I am almost certain it is 5900. I have the 1tb and it is at 5900.
Nice drive to keep backups of all the family's data on. Nice that they are starting to include warranties longer than 1 year on the 1TB + drives.
