Great, you hear the sports announcer erroneously use the word semi and everyone thinks they are a genius when they use that word.

Reasonable price, but not particularly great, for a slow but big drive perfectly suitable for backups and storage of media files (e movies).

3 years warranty and 1.5TB for that price, looks like a good deal to me

Great you learned the word "erroneously" today and needed to use it in a sentence. We're all impressed.

Good price for this GREEN drive. The other 1.5TB drives are $100.

Linked item is $126.50. Coupon works, bringing price to $111.50. UPS std shipping (to my zone - YMMV) is 11.18, so total of 122.68.
Same drive at the 'egg is $119.99 with free shipping (3 day fedex).
Some egg comments indicate early failures (within a month) - go read 'em y'selves...

Nice one #14...i was wondering the same, was about ready to pull trigger until read about early failures. but i guess the 3 years warranty kinda sorta helps.Just me

Yea but returning them is always a pain. No matter who the retailer is. Why buy something with a high and early failure rate no matter what the price?

You could always try your luck with the 2-for-$200 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 drives from Dell, which at one time every single one of them made were guaranteed to go bad until the rest of the people still working at Seagate had to issue TWO firmwares to fix the problem.
