64MB buffer=4MB Sectors.
I haven't tried one of these with XP, but I'll bet the 10% degradation that I've read about is way off.

You just need to use WD's alignment tool. Not the big deal everyone keeps trying to make it up to be. Soon all drives will have 4K sectors. May as well get used to it.
