Yeah, too many platters, would much much rather have 4 x 1.5TB @ $65 ea./$260 for 6TB... (typical Samsung deals recently) or if only buying two of them right now, $130 for 3TB... and no lack of TLER issues, or dealing with 4K sectors, or OS or external enclosure limitations dealing with volumes over 2TB.
