same here. No wonder Dell is not doing good nowsday. They drive away customers. Are their executives from india?
Just received email from Dell that they shipped mine out yesterday 2/10 and will arrive shortly. That was a good deal from Dell for $80 for the drive. Finally, Dell does something right.
Dell says I won't see my $80 drive before mid march.
#3 - Did you originally get an email explaining that you'll get it mid-March?
Just wondering since I had the same response like #4 plus I had to call Dell a few weeks ago and give them the OK to still backorder it. Dell said there's a FTC law that requires them to ask their customers if they still want it or they'll cancell the backorder.
**Anyone used this HD as their WI USB loader???
#5 I received the same email and extended the backorder. The time estimate was mid march. I'm looking forward to them and will be using them with WDTV Live media players.
#5, yes, I got email from Dell said it will ship out 3/11. I guess Dell has sped up the order with Western Digital and orders arrives in hurry. That is why Dell said they shipped one out for me yesterday. I like the drive, less heat and very quite. This is 2nd one. Job well done Mr. Dell

If I ever get it....I'm looking forward in using this drive to store my Wii games and play them via the USB loader.
Did anyone used this drive as a USB device for the Wii with Homebrew? One site had the 1TB Elements drive tested with the Wii and no issues!!
