$10 price drop. Newegg has the Western Digital Elements 1.5TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDBAAU0015HBK-NESN for $80 - $20 off with coupon code WD15TB [1000 uses] = $60 with free shipping. USB 2.0 interface and backwards compatible with USB 1.1.
Pretty good actually. The one in Target requires a trip to the store. Amazon had the 2 TB for $90, which is the same space/dollar as this. It depends on whether you think a trip to Target is worth the $20.
I got the one from Amazon for $90. Got it at 7:45am too. Didnt have to wait out in front of Target at 4am like them fools. Figure in the tax, gas, and 3 hours of lost time makes that Target purchase a ripoff.
went to Target @ 8am, picked up 4 drives. Paid for 2 drives and got a $10 gift card for spending over $100. Plus 5% off for using Target cc. Did this twice fot a total of 4 drives
>> Paid for 2 lots of 2 and got 2, -- What are you talking about it's a freakin' HD? They aren't sold in lots?! This isn't a storage unit that's foreclosed! WTF?
>> #14 I'm surprised they priced matched a Black Friday door-buster type promo. -- Another BB Ben's Bargaineer here told of how he did the same for a different deal & a differnt product at Office Depot. -- If a store has a price-matching policy, they MUST price match even to themselves and EVEN ON BLACK FRIDAY. There are thousands of shoppers that have no clue what Black Friday is and ho-hum walk in one day and think they got ripped off when they bought their item a few days ago for more. Some come back and price match when they find out from the store clerk of such a policy after stating thier complaint.
Not good, coulda had a 2TB from Target for $69.

this shld a few dozen digital photos at least
Also, think about taxes that you end up paying when you pick it up at the store. Where I live taxes amount to almost 9%
In addition, getting that price at Target required one to stand out in the cold for hours on end.
missed the one at target so this was a great find thanks for the post.
i wonder if it can hold all the picures from my coin and stamp collections
good deal indeed!
code does not work
got the 2tb from target for $69, but missed out on the 1tb portable also at target for the same price.

Does this one work w/out DC power; just from USB?
