I remember 2TB version on sale for $69.99 a few days ago...
So go back in time and pick one up.
#1...then you remember this.....2TB version was only BF and you had to go get it at 4am.
B&H has the WD 2tb Elements for $85 until supplies run out.
I got (2) 2TB versions of this drive on BF at Target for $69.99 each. Had to pay tax which brought the cost up to $75 each. Target gave out a $10 gift card for spending more than $100 which basically paid for the tax.
I showed up at Target at 4:10, after the crowd had already entered. Went straight to the Electronics section and grabbed two. There were a ton of them available.
Final cost was right around $70 per 2TB drive. 3.5 cents per Gb. Lowest $/Gb I have ever seen for the WD Elements product line.
NewEgg was selling this 1TB version for $45 about a month ago. (It was a recertified model)
I got the 1.5 TB version for $85 From Dell 5 month ago and thought to myself "boy what a deal" this stuff just gets cheaper and cheaper.
