I do care "portable" since I don't want to keep power adapter for every external hard drive. From now on, I will mainly (not always) get "portable" hard drive with USB self feed power source.

This is not a bad deal. But I got the WD Elements 640GB portable last Friday 2010-05-14 from Fry's for $69.99 plus tax, total around $76.

@Jet, yeap...I bought my WD Elements 640GB portable last Friday 2010-05-14 from Fry's also. Great price for the drive. I bought this same drive 3 or weeks ago from dell business for the same price with free shipping. I have to wait for dell to ship it me versus coming into Fry's Electronics and picked one up. $64 for 500 GB portable drive is a great price considering you don't have to lug around an AC adapter. It is all about the portability. This portable drive is half the size of the external drive.
