Today only. Newegg has the Western Digital WDBABV0010BBK-NESN Elements SE 1TB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive for $90 with free shipping. Powered through USB cable, this drive measures 5" x 3.1" x 0.6" and weighs 7.05 oz.
I like WD Elements portables. I got a pair of 640G for backups.
I got one $69 1TB in Target on BFriday. The capacity/price is great. But I notice that WD changed the USB port from the popular Mini-USB port to Micro USB B-Type. I would like to keep same USB cable for all my portable hard drives. If Seagate or Iomega still use Mini-USB for 1TB portable, I will switch from WD Elements.
I am thinking the 8TB (4x2TB) external WD elements drives i ordered this weekend for $232 is a good deal then. The reason staples didnt have the 69.99 drives was because the sold them at 2:30AM Sunday, not Monday morning. They have been OOS ever sense.
You morons are comparing this small notebook size SE model to the large desktop size Elements model. This thing only needs the USB cable to run. rodeo cowboy
WD or Seagate?
So Cyber Monday deal cannot beat Target's Black Friday $69+tax deal?
what target deal are you talking about? give the link. staples never delivered $69 deal
Missed out on an Amazon Lighting deal : Western Digital 1TB Elements $64.99
dell.con has 1.5tb for 70
It was $69 in target on Friday. I got 2 of these, working very nicely. Not online.
#5, FWIW, Dell charges tax.
the best deal right now is $85 for 2tb on b&h video no taxes free shipping

Would this drive make a good laptop hd? Can I take this hard drive out of the enclosure and put it in my laptop(It takes sata)?
How is this a deal?
I just picked up a 2 TB external from Microcenter for $109.
Double the capacity for 20 dollars more?
Something is wrong here. This is definitely a misprint.
The only thing that's wrong is your brain. 3.5" vs 2.5" drives DUH
