Yes, very.
It's fat32 so switch it to NTFS... use it only as a "backup" keep your folders organized and don't just dump any junk in there you get from the internet.
Good deal if you need it right away, but I have seen them around for $150
$150 is stretching it a bit. All I've seen here is a Fry's deal that sold out faster than a manager could stash 'em behind the BlueRay MI-III stand.
Mark my words, gentleman: we are nearly where hard-drives can barely be filled up fast enough before they crap out. That will prove to be the ultimate limit; not some concern over the maximum spin states in an iron atom, but the shifting of data-loading hours vs. MTBF.
