I don't see free shipping and beware of tax.
I have this drive and let me tell you, it's SLOW.. transferring even over gigabit ethernet you get probably 8MB max.. if you can deal with that, this is an AWESOME drive, it's very hackable, it's got a lightweight linux already installed on there, and you can install a print server / torrent program / web server / etc etc...

#4, if you ripped the drive out of it and put it into a decent case like the Antec MX-1 AND got a better eSATA cable for it like the one from SiiG, then yes, it would add a HEAP of storage to your TiVo S3. To add it to the TiVo HD, you would need to hack the machine itself.
