Still not worth buying because it limits the type of media you can share over your Local Network. Unless you know a bypass around it anyway...
What do you mean it limits the type of media? What are those limits?
It prohibits some music and video files from being accessed through the ethernet interfaces but apparently it can be hacked.
it does not prohibit the type of media you can share over your LAN the drive comes with software that you use so that you can access your data anywhere with an internet connection. It only limits you sharing your data with other people with the software it doesn't limit you from accessing the data from anywhere. Do some research and you'll see.
