The local Office Depot has some 300+ gig hd's for less than $70. a 160 for $50 - these are 2.5's check out your local OD.

Avoid buying from buy.com at all cost. They charged me shipping for free shipping items. I canceled the order in one hour, but they still shipped it. I had to refuse the delivery. Now after more than one month, I still have not got my money back. They are a nightmare to deal with. Also, they often sell outdated, discontinued electronics. Be aware!

I deal with buy.com for couple years and never have any problems. I like buy.com.

#3, try bbb.org. i had problem w/ buy bacon couple years ago, and bbb helped me to solve the problem. actually, i still buy stuffs from buy bacon, but they are just some little things like thumb drive, sd card, mouse...etc.

Wow. No idea why some folks have so much trouble with buy.com. I've been buying stuff for over half a decade and never had a problem. Bought 4 different times this year, and received every item within 3 days of ordering.

Here's the thing. We should judge businesses by the way they treated their customers. Of course, they did it right most of the times. But how they tried to corrects their mistakes is what really matter.

For normal situation, you mkae a order and they deliever you the stuff, there is no problem. Usually the problem come out when you need cancel the order or refund with your purchase. For my experience, if you don't like Buy.com, go for newegg.com. But newegg could not refund you in a mounth.

Problem with Buy.com is that they never emailed you if the item is out of stock even though the item was shown IN-STOCK when you ordered it.

I had to email them and asked for the status of my order.
Waited for 3 weeks to get my stuff.

Will I buy from Buy.com again?
Maybe only if the Buy.com 25-35% Live cashback is back again!

The problem with the "Free Shipping" aspect of buy.com is that it doesn't default to that option. It defaults to "standard shipping," where you will be charged. Because I pay close attention and make sure to choose "Free Budget Shipping" whenever I order from them, I've never had a problem with buy.com, and I buy from them frequently.
