B&H Photo Video has the Western Digital WDH2Q60000N My Studio II 6TB External Hard Drive for $349 with free shipping. Formatted in HFS+, but can be reformatted for Windows. Features user-serviceable design, capacity gauge, supports RAID 1 or 0, and a quad-interface (eSATA, USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and 800). Normally $380+. JR.com has it for $1 more.
So that equates to $50/TB + $50 for the box to put the drives in. Not a great deal considering that several 2TB & 3TB drives (internal and external) have been selling for ~$35/TB recently.
However, if you were to buy 7200rpm bare drives separately, 2 - 3tb drives would run about $300, or 3 - 2tb drives would run you $330. So not a terrible deal.

So according to Rarb if its not Black Friday price its not a deal. There's some brain surgery.
Only a fool buys WD crap anyway since its funding the terrorists (of the harddisk industry)
Not to mention it's only USB 0 Come on, no 3.0 for 6.0TB storage, you gotta be kidding me???
And no Thunderbolt. No dice.

Overpriced Thunderbolt only exists to milk apple sheep, nobody else cares.
This drive is really slow, it's probably good for archive.
