You can get some 64GB SSD's for around this price. If you want performance go SSD.
Yea you can. And...64gb is less than 150, so you're comparing oranges to cumquats.
between me and some friends that have had these drives it was an 80% failure rate. SSD FTW
Hey dummy, if you're going for performance SSD beats any drive and 64GB is plenty for the OS, programs and several games!
I sure am happy everyone is starting off the new year in a civil tone. It would be sad if comments were scathing, insulting, etc. so soon after the fresh start.
#2, This is a pretty good deal in Velociraptor standards, but for hard drive deals in general this thing is a rip off. I would go for a SOLID STATE, the capacity is substantially smaller but the performance well worth the premium price. Where as the VelociRaptor holds little performance over the standard 7200 RPM drives. So if capacity is what you worry about, stick with the standard HDD. It's not like you can put much in a 150GB HD anyway it's really meant for faster boot times.
ssd still too pricey and not large enough in capacity, but that's just me.
#7, yep, just you.
stop staring at my rack.
#5, grow up.
