Is the network 1000 base-t or just 100 base-t?
Can I run transmission, sick beard, SABnzbd+ on this?
It appears this is just the WD TV Live HD Plus with an internal 1TB disk. That's fine, as long as you know what you're getting? The 100BT CIFS connection on the LiveHD is fine, but these days with lots of media require GigE.
So it has a gig network and a 1tb disk, this is a very nice unit. It will play anything and I mean anything. It has a lot of features on it, including an Itunes server.
My only complaint is they are slow to upload content to. But it plays over the network just fine.
It doesn't have a newsreader, it is just a media player and server.
