Why or how is this better than their last model? I have the previous model and expect for several software updates, which they were nice enough to provide, works like a charm and has 1080p hdmi port.
The Live version is network enabled, hence DLNA in the description. I have the prior version as well, wish I had this one instead.
expired.
i got this and it works great, stream mkv 1080p
yep works great ! - constant freezing, drop-out frames, external HDD not recognized, out of sync audio.... definitely worth $100
Just hookup a Dell Zino.
too bad that it does not support RMVB.
I heard some good reviews. Is #5's experience true? This would be good to replace my aged Xbox/XBMC setup if it works well.
It sounds like the Live Version has bugs to be worked out, I have the WD HD TV like this which doesn't have the network portion and it works beautifully. They're two different models though, this one might have kinks.
i havent had any problems with mine, havent connected ext hd to it though. love the youtube feature.
Who the f*#& cares about RMVB. Get your pron elsewhere
I agree with #5. That's why I returned it to Bestbuy.
I've had this version for over a month now and it works great. I've been moving it between two HDTV's and have a Trendnet N-Gaming wifi attached to its ethernet port for pure 1080P bliss. G-mode will work fine for 720P mkv's. No freezing, no dropped frames, both of my shared drives recognized from 2 pc's, in-sync audio. Works perfect.
HD porn not recommended...you don't really want to SEE everything!?!?!
wtf is rmvb
RMVB? Real Media? Who still uses that crap?
