I have one of these, not very pleased with it in terms of ability to play files and customer support. Although untested at the moment, I might recommend waiting until July 4th and get the $130 Popbox. It sounds more promising and builds off the Popcorn Hour brand.

#3 Because wireless typically doesn't have enough bandwidth to carry the data.

So the HDMI port is actually a "feature" that is worth mentioning?

#3 I have one- have it hooked up to my router. My PC is wireless, and it's able to connect to the PC easily. I can play video, watch pics and play music.

This thing is a workhorse, everything I throw at it- works. One flaw I've noticed; ISO files- it won't play the menu. It will just directly to the movie. Only draw back there is if your iso file has multiple clips... it will only play the last one or so.. Still trying to figure it out, not bad machine over all.
