Bought this a few months ago for the same price. Great unit and community of people writing new apps for this. Silent operation, compared to the xbox I was previously streaming for Netflix.

Bummer. I have one on order for $65. Also from ebay via a link from this site.

But on the plus side these are great devices. I have 4 (counting the one on order) two are this newer model, one is the previous model, and the other is the original. These new ones have a much improved interface.

I bought one from the last time it was listed here. It was bad so they sent me a label to ship back at no cost to me. If you have the time to waste, possibly, go ahead.

I have one, and I like it. Sometimes, the netflix streaming stalls (get's stuck on "loading"). I have to reboot the box to get it working again. I use it for spotify too (gotta pay the monthly subscription though). Only wish they also had Amazon streaming....

I have three of the WD Live Plus and love them. Is there custom firmware yet for the SMP?

if someone could build a interface that gives you the ability to scan every website for videos and play it that would be great.. that way it would reduce the amount of data I need to download to my pc.

Just bought this to replace my old Sony Media Player. I spoke with the WD booth at ComicCon and was impressed with the product.
